The Convenient Truth

I have a pet peeve, a complaint you might say. I know all of you are saying...Kat complaining? couldn't be..she never complains. Yah right we all know that is about as true as Clinton saying "I never had sexual relations with that girl".

So this is what has been bugging the hell out of me. Lately as I have been frequenting fast food restaurants, I have notice one of two things happening. One my order is never fucking right, and two the drive through operator dropping my food out the window.

Now this has become an every week occurance for me. On the few occassions that they do get my order right, they drop it between the car and the wall of the restaurant. Then look at me like, oops!, then go on to ask me if "I can reach that? I didn't know retrieving my food from under my car was part of whole "Have it your way experience". I'd rather HAVE my food in my fucking hand and my order right.

Now I've been on the phone with friends when this ordeal has happened and their response usually is what do you expect they are making minimum wage...no they aren't. At least not here in the ghetto. These people are making about $2 over minimum wage so it's not an issue of being underpaid.

So what is causing this recent onslaught of dropped in the rainpuddle cheeseburgers, and short one fry orders? Must be global warming...afterall I drive one of those gas guzzling environment wreaking vehicles with one person in the car 99% of the time.

It has to be global warming, Al Gore told me. Besides I have to believe him he says he created the internet you know, and I can't imagine my life without that snappy invention.

Wow I think this is a first, I mentioned both a former president, and a presidential wanna be in one post....now that's scary.
